My name is Jessie, I’m 28 years old. I’m from the Farnhill/kildwick area and have two lovely house bunnies that I adopted, to keep me company. Tilly and Mr Moose, yes that is his name.
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always been passionate about being creative! I decided to study art at school and further developed my skills when I went to college, receiving a qualification in Fine Art.
It soon became apparent and to much petition from them both, my buns Tilly and her Hus-Bun Moose became the centre of a lot of my art work and creative inspiration.
Belle Ame, means beautiful soul in French. I just loved this due to the passion I have to paint animals and how much joy it brings to customers, when they see their fur baby’s personality captured in an art piece. However, there is also a hidden meaning in this name. The “Bell”, in Belle Ame Art, is a homage to my late dad who passed early last year as he was always my biggest cheerleader when it came to my artwork.
As well as this, with my parents only having daughters, which inherently makes us the last of the Bell lineage. It felt only right to me that this would create a bit of a legacy for the Bell family name.
